We look forward to seeing all of you in San José on February 27 - 28 . The meeting is hosted by San José Unified School District and will convene in San José Unified School District’s Board Meeting Room #150 . Below we have outlined relevant logistic information , including schedule, travel information, and locations for all meeting activities .

MEETING SCHEDULE

Monday, February 27
8:00 am         Meet in hotel lobby if you are assigned a carpool 
8:30 am         Light breakfast at meeting venue (Lobby outside the Board Room)
9:00 am         Meeting will commence
5:00 pm         Adjourn for the day
6:00 pm         Wine reception and dinner at Scott's Seafood  

Tuesday, February 28
8:00 am          Meet in hotel lobby if you are assigned a carpool
8:30 am          Light breakfast at meeting venue (Lobby outside the Board Room)
9:00 am          Meeting will commence
2:00 pm          Adjourn meeting

TRAVEL INFORMATION

The California Collaborative on District Reform will reimburse you for your coach class airfare and/or mileage and other travel expenses. Please see the Travel Reimbursement instructions in Dropbox for more details. Please retain and submit your receipts for reimbursement.

Local Airports:

Please plan to make your own travel arrangements to the San José area (i.e., flights, ground transportation, etc.). If you have any questions, feel free to contact Marina Castro at (650) 376-6331 or mcastro@air.org.

Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport (SJC); 3.9 miles from meeting venue, 5 miles from hotel 

San Francisco International Airport (SFO); 35-40 miles from meeting venue, 36-45 miles from hotel

Ground Transportation:

You are welcome either to rent a car or to take a taxi/Uber/Lyft or shuttle service to and from the airport. The Collaborative will reimburse you for these travel expenses. For travel between the meeting venue and hotel, we have arranged carpool assignments for those who indicated they needed a carpool. Please see the Carpool List on Dropbox for more details.
