Meeting 43
March 4-5, 2021
We meet in a time of great hope, as the availability of vaccines offers a response to the disruption and destruction that COVID-19 has wreaked on our families and communities. We also meet in the context of continued stress and frustration as school communities continue to battle ongoing threats to health and safety, political challenges surrounding transitions back to in-person schooling, and the profound inequities that have been exposed and exacerbated over the past year. In this meeting, we will focus our attention on matters of student learning—seeking to understand the pace of student progress during a time of distance and hybrid instruction and to explore strategies for accelerating student learning now and into the future.
