Governor Brown Signs 2nd Half of Dream Act

Governor Brown has signed the second half of the California Dream Act, allowing undocumented immigrants to apply for state-funded financial aid to attend California colleges and universities. The bill requires these students to meet the same requirements as all other applicants but stipulates that they may only be considered for financial aid after all legal residents have applied.
